Blue October played at SXSW this past weekend in what I've heard was one of their very best shows ever!! (Reason #102 that I need to move to Texas, preferably the Austin area, lol.) Thanks to the generosity and amazing videography of a Blue fan (Angele, you rock!!) I was able to watch the whole show! And I could not resist sharing this with you!! Matt, the Bass Guitar player, brought his daughter out to join the band for JUMP ROPE. She is about the cutest thing ever and just look at how proud she makes her Dad!!
Enjoy - I dare you not to smile!!

Loved The Book, Excited For the Movie! WATER FOR ELEPHANTS
I read WATER FOR ELEPHANTS by Sara Gruen last year. Admittedly I wanted to read it because I knew it was being made into a movie. A lot of times movies don't live up to the books, so I try to read it first and then see the movie. I really loved the book!! And by the looks of the trailers I think (hope) I will love the movie too!!! I was skeptical of the chemistry between Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson, wasn't sure it would live up to the book, but it looks pretty darn good.
I was shopping today and saw the beautiful movie tie-in paperback. AND decided to do a little giveaway! Since Jacob takes up with the circus and the story primarily revolves around that time in his life... Tell me, what is your favorite act/part of the circus?? Comment below this post with your answer and make sure to include your email address so I can contact you if you are the winner!! Contest ends at midnight on Sunday (March 13) and the winner will be contacted on Monday.
AND for your viewing pleasure....Here's the latest trailer, it's an International Trailer. Do they have to make different trailers to be used Internationally than the ones shown here in the US?? Hmmm wonder why. Anyway here ya go, enjoy!
Don't forget to enter to win a copy and tell a friend!!
THE CONTEST IS CLOSED - Congratulations To LINDSAYWRITES who was selected at random as the winner! (By the way I don't like clowns either lol)

It Was Kind Of Funny, But Now It's Just Kind of Sad
I have to admit, I have always been a little bit of a Charlie Sheen fan. I mean I sort of grew up watching him, felt like he was part of the 80's "Brat Pack" the "Breakfast Club" even though he actually wasn't. I crushed on him as the preppy good guy Cappie in LUCAS
More recently I would catch an episode or two of Charlie Harper on TWO AND A HALF MEN where art imitates, or maybe even mocks, life.
Over the years we have all seen his personal life fall apart on the Evening News reports. And then about two weeks ago... it got worse, much worse. Ok I freely admit that at first I couldn't help but watch the interviews and follow all of the on-line reports of his antics. It's kind of like the car/train wreck that you can't help but look at. And maybe I even laughed at some of his comments at first (ok i laughed at lots of them). But now, now it's just all becoming SAD. He is exploiting all that is wrong with society these days (ugh I sound like I'm 90 yrs old). But seriously, I am sad for his kids, his ex-wives, the goddesses and for everyone whose employment is/was contingent upon him. Hopefully soon he start thinking about how his behavior affects them, and maybe even get the help he needs.
Rant over....
Now, Never let it be said that I've got a stick up my butt (well sometimes I do, but not in this case) because believe me I DO love a good laugh. This situation has certainly given the talk shows and comedians a lot of great material. Here's one of my favorite sketches to come out of this mess LOL
