It started with a couple of hours writing over a latte, then continued with a burger, beer and emailing friends, followed by a nap. In the evening, I caught up with my S.O. and son for a perfect dinner and playground romp. It was simultaneously mellow and magical . . . which is nice after how sad last year's Mother's Day was for me!Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06036505968642985025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6349165635489015215.post-70491230520598560432011-05-09T07:54:33.099-07:002011-05-09T07:54:33.099-07:00Sounds great - enjoy your "me time!"
Th...Sounds great - enjoy your "me time!"<br /><br />This post is so true. I didn't even have a mother's day yesterday. My husband played golf, so I was home with the kids all day and spent the day doing laundry, taking them to the park, and shopping at Target. Nice, right?! Then he was going to grill, but I explained that meant I had to go to the grocery store, prepare all the sides, and clean up the dishes, so we got takeout instead, which I went to pickup. What a celebration! NOT. :-)Debbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14418822198254057366noreply@blogger.com
